Baía das Pipas is one of the most scenic coastal destinations in southern Angola, located about 26–30 km north of Moçâmedes in Namibe Province. Known for its dramatic cliffs, wide white-sand beaches, turquoise Atlantic waters, and peaceful fishing village atmosphere, it has become a favorite escape for travelers from Angola, Namibia, and South Africa.

The route to Baía das Pipas combines desert scenery, ocean views, and rugged landscapes. Part of the final stretch is accessed via rough gravel and rocky tracks, making a 4x4 vehicle highly recommended. Along the way, visitors are rewarded with spectacular coastal cliffs and panoramic Atlantic Ocean views.
